Carneys Point, NJ. – The Salem Community College baseball team dropped a tough loss to Mercer County Community College 18-11 after leading early in the match up. With the loss the Mighty Oaks fall to 10-14 on the season.
The Mighty Oaks were led by Yenuelle Rodriguez who went 4 for 4 on the day with a home run a triple and 3 RBI. Tyler Hacker also had a multi-hit day going 5 for 2 with 3 RBI. Matt Murphy went 1 for 3 while driving in 2 runs.
Up next for the Mighty Oaks will be Montgomery County Community College. Salem will travel to MCCC Friday March 28 to open the weekend conference series.
