Paramus , NJ - The Salem Community College men's basketball team continued its undefeated run on Saturday, earning a strong 90–78 victory over Bergen Community College at home. With the win, the Mighty Oaks advance to 11–0, maintaining their position as one of the region's hottest teams.
Salem's offense was once again fueled by standout guard Jarrell Little, who delivered a powerful 29 point performance. Little shot 10-for-23 from the field, including five three-pointers, and went a perfect 4-for-4 from the free-throw line. His consistent scoring helped Salem build separation in both halves.
Freshman guard Saaid Lee provided a steady presence on both ends of the floor, finishing with 13 points, five assists, and a perfect 5-for-5 performance at the free-throw stripe. Lee's ball movement and ability to control tempo were key in Salem's offensive rhythm.
Forward Nasseem Wright put together a strong all-around game, recording 14 points, 8 rebounds, and 7 assists, nearly completing a triple-double. His playmaking from the frontcourt helped Salem generate high-quality shots throughout the game.
Additional strong contributions came from:
-
Quade'air Smith – 11 points on an efficient 5-for-7 shooting, 4 rebounds
-
Stefan Phillips – 9 points on 4-for-5 shooting, 2 rebounds
-
Zyaire Gibson – 8 points, including two made threes
-
Jahseir Sayles – 6 points on a pair of three-pointers
-
