Carney's Point, NJ - The #2 Ranked Mighty Oaks men's team kept their record undefeated with a 83-67 win.
The Mighty Oaks played a tough game today with a matchup against Brookdale who has a really good team. Brookdale kept it close majority of the first half, with the Salem lead not going higher than four points. That all changed with four minutes left, when the Mighty Oaks went on a 13-4 run to close the half out.
Brookdale was never really able to close in to the Salem lead however, as the Mighty Oaks never allowed it to be a one score game again. For the men, Nasseem Wright led with 26 points, eight rebounds, and four assists. Right behind him was Saaid Lee, who posted a 22/5/4/2/2 star line and really filled up the box score.
This win was huge for Salem, who move to 15-0 on the year and 9-0 in the GSAC. Their next home game isn't until January 13.
Their next matchup will be Thursday, December 18, against Ocean County College.
