Saaid Lee Named GSAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week
Carneys Point, NJ - Salem Community College men's basketball freshman guard Saaid Lee has been named the Garden State Athletic Conference (GSAC) Player of the Week, recognizing his outstanding performances during another undefeated week for the Salem Mighty Oaks.
Lee played a pivotal role in Salem's continued success, averaging 21 points, six assists, and six rebounds per game, while also contributing two steals per contest. His all-around production on both ends of the floor helped fuel the Mighty Oaks' high-powered offense and relentless defensive pressure.
The freshman guard showcased poise beyond his years, consistently creating scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates while controlling the tempo of the game. Lee's leadership and versatility have been key factors in Salem's early-season dominance.
Behind Lee's strong play, the Mighty Oaks remained undefeated and continued to hold the No. 1 ranking in the nation, further establishing Salem as one of the premier programs in the country.
