Men's Soccer Make It Three In A Row

Schnecksville, Pa – Another goal and assist by sophomore Joao Pedro Gusman, who now has three goals in six matches, helped send the Salem Community College men's soccer team to a 4-2 victory in an intense matchup against Region 19 opponent Lehigh Carbon Community College Saturday afternoon.

Patrick Oliviera continued his hot start of the season adding a goal and assist to his team leading totals in both categories. Jardel Sinclair added a goal on the day giving him three goals on the season. Mark Mason finished the Salem scoring with his first goal of the season. The Mighty Oaks defense was stellar, allowing just three shots on goal for the match.

"Solid performance today to kick off our tough three game road stretch", said Mighty Oaks head coach Matt Murray. "We look to continue our good form on Tuesday".

Salem will be on the road when they face off against Region 19 opponent Montgomery County Community College at 3:30 on Tuesday September 27. The match will be the campus of MCCC located in Blue Bell Pa
