Men’s Soccer Wins Fourth Match In A Row At Montgomery CCC
Blue Bell, Pa. – The Mighty Oaks took their fourth match in a row defeating Montgomery County Community College, 2-0, on the road Tuesday afternoon.
Jardel Sinclair was all the offense Salem Community College needed as he scored both goals for the Mighty Oaks. Sinclair got SCC on the board with a penalty kick in the 35th minute. Almany Seny Bah assisted on Sinclair's second goal of the day at the 85th mark of the match.
The Mighty Oaks defense was stellar shutting down the MCCC offense. Between the pipes Mateus Silva dominated with his first shut out the season with seven saves on seven shots on goal.
"I'm extremely proud of today's performance," said Mighty Oaks head coach Matt Murray. "Especially defensively."
Salem continues their extended road trip when they travel to Camden County College to face off against the Region 19 rival Cougars. Kickoff will be at 3:00PM at Gloucester Township Park.
