Men’s Soccer Region 19 Play-off Match Up

Carneys Point, NJ. – For the second time in three seasons of play since the return of athletics, the Salem Community College men's soccer team has qualified for the NJCAA Region 19 post season.  The Mighty Oaks finished the regular season with a 7-7 overall record, making them the eighth seed in the tourney.  SCC will match up against the top seeded Bergen Community College. 

When the two faced off in the regular season, the match was a tale of two halves.  The Mighty Oaks dominated early taking a 3-0 into the half.  Bergen rebounded and took over the match in the second half scoring all five of its goals and downing the Mighty Oaks 5-3.

The match will be played on the campus of Bergen Community College located at 400 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652.  Kickoff for the play-off match is at 1:00PM.
