Carneys Point, NJ. – The Salem Community College women's basketball team faced off against the nationally ranked Harcum College Bears, falling to the NJCAA #13 team 123-38. With the loss the Mighty Oaks fall to 4-3 on the season.
Salem was led offensively by Kathryn Laurence who scored 12 points for the Mighty Oaks, the lone player to score in double figures for SCC. Maggie St.Clair added 9 points for Salem.
Salem will be on the road next when they face another NJCAA nationally ranked program in Raritan Valley Community College who is currently ranked #18 in the national polls. Tip off is slated for 12:00 Saturday, December 9 on the campus of RVCC.
