Schnecksville, PA. – The Salem Community College women's basketball team topped Lehigh Carbon Community College in a solid team effort that saw the Mighty Oaks lead most of the way in this hard fought matchup.
Jakayla Jenkins led all scorers in the win 12 points on 4 of 16 shooting, with an imprseeive 4 for 5 effort from the foul line. Kathryn Laurence finished with 11 points on the night, complimented by a 10 point effort from Carly Santimaw. Callie Rozak contributed 10 rebounds for the Mighty Oaks.
With the victory the Mighty Oaks move to 8-7 on the season. Up next the women will travel to Middlesex College to face off against the Colts Saturday January 27 at 12:00.
