Edison, NJ. - The Salem Community College women's basketball team suffered a tough loss to Middlesex College 64-36. With the loss the Mighty Oaks move to 500 on the season at 8-8.
On offense, Salem was led by freshman guard Maggie St.Clair who scored 18 points with 4 steals and 1 blocked shot in a solid all around performance. On defense Jakayla Jenkins had a strong game with 4 blocked shots to go along with 6 rebounds.
The Mighty Oaks are back on the hardcourt when they will travel to Harcum College Tuesday January 30. Tip-off for this Region 19 match up is slated for 6:00PM.
