Salem Community College Women’s Cross Country Closes Season at Highlander Invitational
LANGHORNE, PA, - The Salem Community College women's cross-country team wrapped up its historic return season at the Highlander Invitational, hosted by Cairn University. The meet marked the final race of the Mighty Oaks' first season of women's cross country in five years.
Head Coach Ashley Johnson praised her team's effort and resilience on a challenging course. "It was a tough course, but the women competed well," Johnson said. "They've grown so much throughout the season, and I'm proud of the way they represented Salem Community College."
The Highlander Invitational featured a competitive field and hilly terrain, testing the endurance and determination of all runners.
